Deck the top of the float bowl. Its responsible for most cronic leaky carbs.
The carburator should be fitted 1st before sizing up the motor chain to make sure there is clearance for the carburetor to fit in before you cut the chain too short.

Can't you just fit the intake Manifold upside down?
good point maybe you could but a lot of smaller frames still wouldn't be able to fit the carb. I'm gonna have to put mine out towards the side of the frame
I just order a 25$ CNC short intake off amazon they come with some decent length so I use a pipe cutter to trim it down if need be, that along with a low profile sandwich air filter mod you can fit an engine in most smaller frames , I’ve done it on a 24 inch frame

my bike won idle, once i let the throttle go the engine shut off, have my settin jet on second.
Hi make sure you warm it up and then gradually put the choke down. It won’t idle well if the choke isn’t down but you must warm the engine up.

Why won’t mine idle
Hello check your choke. Make sure that you warm up the engine by reving engine up first and then put the choke down. The engine will shut off if choke is up after you get it on and pull in the clutch. Also make sure you follow all the instructions in the video too.

I just got my first My first one of these around about new years day. For some reason mine doesn't idle at all. Id love to be able to ghat I get for asking for a motorized bike but not specifically saying i wanted to put it together myself. This should be of some help though. The model here is the same im almost certain so, i just need to figure a few things out... Uhh wish me luck... Why do cars come intuitively to some people yet these ate strangely foreign to my eyes 😊❤
Hi yes make sure after warming up the engine you have the choke down. The engine has difficulty idling if choke isnt down after warm up. Experiment with the idle screw and throttle cable adjusters. Also I have found that too much oil can cause problems. New engines should use 5 oz 2 cycle oil per 1 gallon of gas.
@@uMOTObikes thank you for the advice, the problem is I cannot figure out what is where (the carburator I mean) everything else I have no problem finding
Oh, so maybe I do have an issue with that side screw because when I put my bike down, the engine does nothing but roll and spin no matter matter matter how much I push my clutch in maybe it just doesn’t have enough idle or isn’t idling at all so it’s just running like there is no idol.
Hi your engine should be disengaged and not be trying to go if the clutch is pulled in. You might need to adjust your clutch cable tighter to allow more disengagement so it will be in neutral.
@@uMOTObikes yeah I honestly think that my idle might just be so high that it’s just on rather than an idle. I’m having and I try it earlier today after I had really tightened my clutch yesterday is that even when I kickstart the bike or bicycle with it in the air and then I pull in the clutch the wheel is just spinning and then it turns itself on, and it just starts spinning faster Rather than being a neutral it’s just eating gear and it sucks because I can’t do it like you should wear you warm it up for a few minutes and then you kinda go off. It feels like full throttle or no throttle to really move or go anywhere and something tells me with my smaller gear for more speed in my gear ratio that it should go a lot faster than 20 to 25 mph or at least it should feel like it has more torque And more power but it just feels weak. (I follow the laws here in ohio of below 20mph but it sounds like its always at full power even tho im at half throttle ya knoe?)

Also watch out for air leaks around carburetor that can Jack up the idle very high

Bro how you get it to idle? My bike shutd off the moment i engage the clutxh and i can only start it up when i go downhill
You mean pull in the clutch hand lever? Try also warming bike up and put choke 1/2 way down and also screw in the carburetor idle screw and unscrew out the adjust on throttle cable to tighten it

Yes but keep in mind if you have an air leak between intake manifold and carburetor you will be idling very high. Please check for that. If you get strange idling high and low you might have an issue with a damaged bottom base cylinder gasket
